Fuerteventura is known for its beautiful bright sandy beaches and the beach of Esquinzo is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the island. The beach falls gently into the sea. It is therefore also suitable for families with small children. Those who like to walk or hike by the sea can walk from here to Costa Calma in about 3 hours or to Morro Jable in about 1,5 hours. The way back is by taxi or bus. No matter which direction you walk, one impressive stretch of beach follows the other.

Esquinzo is almost a little insider tip for those looking for peace and seeking calm. The town ist situated between the larger tourist centers of Costa Calma and Jandia/Morro Jable and offers you the advantage that you will find the tourist infrastructure of the island, but also a lot of peace and a relaxed atmosphere.

Look forward to a quiet penthouse apartment. Above you only the open sky and in front of you even sea views. The apartment is bright, very clean and very nicely decorated. It has 2 bedrooms with large beds, 2 bathrooms (one with shower and toilet and one with bathtub and toilet) and a very large open living-dining room with open kitchen and direct access to a cozy and unobservable sun terrace in the direction southeast. Here you can already see the blue shimmering sea in the morning and enjoy the fresh breeze of the soothing Atlantic in the evening. The complex has a large pool, which you can also use.

The walk to the beach may take 2-3 minutes on foot. In the immediate vicinity there is a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a small supermarket, 2 restaurants and 2 bars. If you like, you can have breakfast at any time in the hotel around the corner and enjoy the spectacular sea view on a beautiful terrace. There is also a bar that invites you to a relaxing drink in the evening over the Atlantic. The popular Top-Restaurant Marabu is also located here in Esquinzo and is only a 2 minute walk away. If you are looking for a little more life from time to time, you can be in Jandia in about 5 minutes by rental car or drive a little further to Morro Jable and in about 8 minutes in the other direction to Costa Calma.

You can plan many great tours from Esquinzo. All the way to the south-east and southwest of the island. to Punta de Jandia and Cofete, but also to the wilder west coast. The beaches here offer water sports enthusiasts many opportunities. Surfing, windsurfing and kiting are high on the list. You can also book diving trips or diving courses in a neighboring hotel. Beautiful mountain-bike day tours are also available from here.

The apartment of course has a washing machine, satellite TV and internet.

Note: The apartment is brand new in the program and the owner has other small beauty and comfort measures in mind. For example, the terrace is larger than it might appear in the photos and so there are 2 sun chairs or a lounger and an armchair. However, the local dream beach is more suitable for sunbathing.
