Instead of streams of tourists you will find fields of tomatoes, goat farmers and small-sized ajuverde-establishments in the wideness of the meagre, rough, but unique volcano landscape.

Enjoy the hospitality of  Tuineje´s locals. Your lovely Finca is situated on the brink of Tuineje, where Fincas have been renovated and rebuilt lately. In the village you will find a supermarket, a pharmacy, a petrol station and a few restaurants, serving authentic food. A culinary hot tip in the next village will be revealed to you after booking with us. Surprise, surprise.

The afterwards situated, a little bigger town is only approx. 7 kilometres away and called Gran Tajal. There you will find many shops, supermarkets and a nice promenade in a sheltered bay, with wide, dark beaches and the harbour in which even big cruise ships berth now and then. But also the quiet beaches of Las Playitas, Giniginámar and Tarajalejo, each surrounded from small fishing villages, are quick reaching and a perfect place to the fishing, sailings or diving.

Las Toscas was built only few years ago on the ruins of an old house of original inhabitants. It offers today’s comprehensive comfort in an elegant and very comfortable ambience. Children are able to play outdoors on the big terrace or splash in the swimming pool, while you have got immediate view from the terrace, watching them. We are sure – the terrace with the adjoining swimming pool and the large garden area will make you feel relaxed and feeling private. A big traditional outside stove and grill with adjoining sink and a small fridge invite you to spend as many hours as only possibly outdoors, being tempted to remain inside in your beautiful holiday home at the same time.

By car you will arrive Las Toscas in 35-40 minutes. You will find in tunije also supermarket, bars and restaurants and pharmacy. You reach by far more famous beaches of Costa Calma to Morro Jable from Tuineje, in addition, comfortably at only approx. 30 minutes. Venture simply every day to another part of the beach in the south or undertake from Tuineje exciting tours in the north or the west of the island, buy occasionally fresh goat’s cheese, the fresh tomatoes of the island, wine of Lanzarote and many other Canary products and enjoy a comfortable evening in your country house directly among locals. You will have unforgettable memories of an extra-ordinary holiday.

Special fiesta every year in october. The celebration of the defeat by the Majojeros (Islanders) over the English pirates. With a parade through the town in the evening, attended by over 1.000 – 2.000 people.
